Zara's Party

Its lovely to see my clients come back again, especially Zara who had a birthday party shoot at my studio a few years ago. Its great to be able to capture Zara through the years and I wish her a very happy birthday.

Last week I had the pleasure of photographing Zara. She is an up and coming talented model/actress, who is an absolute delight to work with. She is moving over to Dubai soon and postponed her travel plans so she could have her portfolio updated by me!

Cherish the dress Fan Club

We had a fabulous time when Denise (a brilliant make up artist from Heavenly Bodies in Milnrow) went to see Emma Jackson for a cherish the dress shoot. We started at Emma's house were we had coffee and croissants for breakfast- a good start to the day Im sure you'll agree.

When the make up and hair was finished, it wasn't difficult to convince Emma that it would be a great idea to start the location shoot at near by run down factory! As everyone on their break from the company across the road watched on, Emma loved posing to her new fan club and we got some great images.

With the weather holding out for us, we carried on into the woods and finished alongside the river. Emma was great and even brave enough to balance on the stepping stones too. Im really looking forward to showing Emma and Mike the pictures.

My job allows me to meet a wide range of amazing people and recently I met Aazam at the Feel Good Festival where he was great teaching the kids some cooking skills. Aazam is a natural on stage as well as being a very talented cook in the fashionable style of fusion cooking.

Our paths crossed again recently at the Bolton Food Festival where Aazam along with the Hairy Bikers and James Martin were passing on culinary tips to those lucky enough to attend.

Watch out Girls

This fella is gonna melt some hearts in a few years. James came into my studio recently and we had a great studio shoot where we got some lovely shots.

James' mum sent me this lovely message-

"They are fantastic, James is very proud! Your wonderful, I will be telling all my friends and family that they must only ever have their pictures done by you."

Need I say anymore.

Not forgetting

Manchester is a mix match of styles which I find intriguing, full of amazing little unknown places which are great for location shoots. The recent model shoots were a great opportunity to use various backdrops to add to the atmosphere of the pictures.

A special thank you goes to the wonderful vintage clothing shop Rags to Bitches and the trendy down to earth chill out zone Night and Day Cafe who were good enough to allow me to disrupt their day and use each as a location. Plus thanks to the Lowry Hotel for its kindness in allowing us to use it as a place to change outfits too.

Coming up in September, taking place in the beautiful Lake District, we are taking part in a not to be missed Wedding Fayre. LoveIt Media are organising the event and have decided to use one of my photos for their magazine too. I cant wait - see you there.
